Recently a fellow carver asked if it was OK to copy my latest Celtic style Love Spoon. I love to encourage carvers and new carvers to challenge their skills with Celtic Knot Love Spoons. When I carve love spoons I give the back side the same detail as the front. It looks beautiful and makes that much more of a challenge. I have included the front, side, and back views to help out. I used basswood with a light water based stain and a glossy finish. Good luck and keep the chips flying.
